Now, Kyle is in his 3rd year and Annie has since received her PhD in American Studies and Literature, and is now teaching at a university. They are happily married and living in North Carolina.

They honey mooned in Greece and now, 2 years on, they can't wait to start a family of their own. They hope to return to Australia because they loved it so much, and they would really like to emigrate there in the future.
