Meh. To me, it's one of those names that tries too hard. Oh, look at me, I'm all Frenchy, I must be pretty!
Strangely, (sort of), I've know OF two Michelles but never met either one. One was the older sister of my best high school friend (nope, never met her sister), and she would be about fifty-six now. The other was a daughter of my a college friend of my husband's, and she would be twenty-five now.
