Just months after their marriage, Annie announced to Topher that she is pregnant. Both were thrilled and surprised that pregnancy has come so quickly, and the excitement was doubled when the USG showed not one, but twin girls!
As time goes by, Topher and Annie began to discuss possible names. Topher wants to name the girls after his and Annie's respective mothers, Kathy Elaine Severn and Wendy Josephine Tolleson, while Annie prefers to stick with the more time-tried classic names. Many ideas were discussed - Jane, Maria, Helen, Rita, and Claire being some of those - before the names Louisa and Alice were finally settled upon. Then, the middle names were after the girls' grandmothers, as previously agreed: Louisa Katherine (after Kathy Severn) and Alice Josephine (after Wendy Josephine Tolleson).
