I was just thinking about this name the other day, because of the show Friends. Phoebe wanted Rachel to name her baby Phoebo (feebo) if it was a boy. Then I saw Phoebus while browsing names and laughed...
I think it would be weird to name your son Phoebus just to honor a town/neighborhood, but using it in in general is not weird.
