I love how Ignatius and Caspian are more realistic than Theodore and Romulus. :)
If it were Theodore and Caspian = more realistic than Ignatius and Romulus, that I could understand...
Anyways, I love all of the combos. Although, Romy seems a tad too feminine a spelling for mucho-masculine Romulus. Might I suggest Rommy instead (presuming you are pronouncing it 'RAH-mee')?

well, its quite simple. My fiance doesn't really like Romulus so much, though he prefers it to another favorite of mine Remus. Theodore and Caspian wouldn't be realistic because Ignatius is our favorite and it has been for almost 2 years.
And does it really matter how you spell a nick name? Im Rebecca, and does Beck, Bek, Bec etc. look any different? I happen to like nicknames that actually come from the name. so even though I like the look of Cass more than Cas, it makes more sense.

Hey, I'm just not used to seeing Ignatius under the heading 'more realistic,' that's all. Ignatius is cool, but you have to admit that -- compared to Theodore -- it has an air of ostentatiousness that most people (a.k.a. non-namenerds) find off-putting. This is why many namenerds, even though they might love a name like Ignatius (as an example), might find it 'more realistic' to go with a name like Theodore, which is more popular and familiar to the masses.
As for the nickname thing, I only suggested Rommy because I read Romy as 'RO-mee' and immediately think of it as a nickname for Rosemary. Rommy, on the other hand, I could see as a nickname for Romulus.
