Year 1:
Right after Christian and Mei settled down, they decided to get a pet. They adopted a cat, Rocky.
Year 2:
Mei gave birth to a daughter, Gemma Ruby. Christian and Mei didn't want to put their first child in a daycare, so Mei decided that she would stay home with Gemma
Year 3:
A stray dog began coming around the Johnson house. The dog quickly took to the family, so they brought her in to their household and named her Daisy.
Year 4:
Christian got a promotion in the local police department! He now has the rank of sergeant.
Year 5:
Another daughter was born to Christian and Mei, Esther Lydia. Since their house only had two small bedrooms, they moved to a larger house to accomodate their growing family.
Year 6:
Christian and Mei packed up the family to fly to California for a week. They went to San Francisco and Los Angeles, and even got to visit some of Christian's extended family.
Year 7:
The Johnsons' first son was born, Linus Alexander. Gemma and Esther were thrilled to have a baby brother.
Year 8:
Another baby girl joined the family, Rowan Winter. This time, it was Christian who took more time off work to stay home with the kids.
Year 9:
This year, the Johnsons took a trip to Australia. They got to see a lot of native wildlife, as well as visit a couple of the major cities.
Year 10:
Sadly, Christian's sister Victoria Sullivan passed away after a battle with cancer. Her ex-husband was not allowed to have custody of her two children, so Christian and Mei took them in. At the time, Rose Elizabeth was 10, and Oliver William was 7. Both children were sad and confused when their mom died, but happy to be living with their uncle, aunt, and cousins.
Year 11:
When Mei was driving Gemma and Oliver to the dentist one day, they were hit by another car! A teenage boy lost control of his car and ran into the side of the Johnsons' car. Gemma and Mei spent a couple days in the hospital, but Oliver was fine aside from a couple bruises.
Year 12:
After Rocky died early that year, Esther begged her parents for another pet to keep Daisy company. They relented, and adopted a puppy, Ace.
Year 13:
Christian and Mei were considering moving to an even bigger house, when they discovered that Mei was pregnant again! They moved into their new house a month before their son, Quentin Blaise, was born.
Year 14:
Mei wasn't making enough money selling her artwork, so she decided to teach Art History classes at the local high school. Her paycheck really helps the family budget a lot.
Year 15:
Oliver was complaining of feeling unwell, so Christian took him to see the doctor. The doctor took a blood test, and found that Oliver's insulin level was way too low! He was hospitalized until they could get his insulin back to normal. Oliver was a bit shocked to have diabetes, but he is learning how to manage very well.
