I woman on my baby posting board had twins, Livian and Alayna (Livi and Layni). Alayna isn't bad, but Livian looks like a mash up of Olivia and Lillian to me, or Vivian with an L.

I like Livian, I'm just going to assume she's honoring someone with the surname or that she has fond memories of the Livian Guesthouse.

I really dislike Alayna. To me, it looks more like a mash up than Livian.

Alayna is okay; I prefer the spelling Alaina. But Livian is bad.

Not my style at all, but kind of cute. I love the nn Layni but spelt Lainey. Alayna is nice enough even though it is trendy. If Livian was a real name, I'd be all over it. I adore Vivian and Lillian. Livi is a great nn but I dislike Olivia.

TBH, as trendoid as it is, I kind of like the twin set.

Even if it isn't technically a mash-up, Alayna looks like one to me too. So in that way the names kind of fit together. Not my style, but by no means tragic.
