I love Hero! I instantly think of the character in Much Ado About Nothing.

I think it should be paired with something feminine, ending in A.
I like Hero Augusta and Hero Lavinia, personally.

Ditto!

I love, love love Much Ado About Nothing, so Hero on a girl makes me think of it. I like Beatrice better as a character in that play, but Hero is a great name.

I also agree that it needs a feminine middle name ending in an A.

Me too-- I like Hero for the name but Beatrice for the character.
