Year 1:

Year 2:
A stray cat began showing up regularly on the Croftons's porch. They decided to adopt it. The cat's name is Bree.
Year 3:
Jocelyn found out on her birthday that she was pregnant with twin boys. They were born a little early, but they were just as healthy as Ronan. Declan Myles and Finley Alastar have curly black hair and green eyes.
Year 4:
Silas and Jocelyn have friends who live in Germany and work at an orphanage in Berlin. They had visited their friends before they were married, and had decided to adopt a child from there eventually. This year, they adopted a three-year-old girl named Johanna Gretchen from the orphanage. She has wavy brown hair and blue eyes.
Year 5:
Jocelyn had always had an interest in photography. This year, she decided to clean out the linen closet in their house to use as a darkroom. She taught herself using photography books she borrowed from the library. She takes pretty good photos for an amateur.
Year 6:
Silas and Jocelyn found out that they were going to have another baby! When they found out that it was a girl, Johanna was thrilled to have a baby sister. Catriona Maeve has curly red hair and brown eyes.
Year 7:
Jocelyn was surprised to hear that she was pregnant again, so soon after Catriona's birth. She was even more shocked to hear that she was going to have twins! Aisling Rose and Saoirse Brigid had to stay a few days in the NICU after they were born, but they are fine now. They have straight red hair and blue eyes.
Year 8:
Silas and Jocelyn packed up their growing family to go to Dublin for Christmas. All of Jocelyn's family lives there. The kids were excited to see all their cousins and aunts and uncles, and Jocelyn got to catch up with some of her old friends in the city.
Year 9:
Silas and Jocelyn were not too surprised that Jocelyn was going to have her third set of twins. Kieran Henry has straight blond hair and blue eyes, while his twin sister, Niamh Emmeline, has curly black hair and hazel eyes.
Year 10:
Even though the Crofton's house was big, they realized that they were getting crowded with eleven people in one house. They moved to a large farmhouse out in the country, with plenty of room for the kids to run around.
Year 11:
After years of teaching at the same high school, Jocelyn was promoted to the head of the mathematics department, one of her main goals for her career. She was thrilled to take on the new position.
Year 12:
Eight years after she had been adopted, Johanna wanted to visit the orphanage where she began her life. So Silas and Jocelyn took her. While they were there, they discovered that Johanna's young cousin had also been orphaned. Silas and Jocelyn filled out the papers to take two-year-old Matthias Hugo home with them. Matthias has curly brown hair and blue eyes.
Year 13:
For Catriona's seventh birthday, Silas and Jocelyn promised to get her a gerbil. Catriona was thrilled to have her own pet, which she named Spark.
Year 14:
Jocelyn and Silas were excited to discover they were expecting yet another son. Tiernan Fergus was born two days before their wedding anniversary. He has straight black hair and hazel eyes.
Year 15:
Ronan is an avid football (soccer) player. While playing a game with his friends, he tripped and broke his ankle in two places. He had to wear a cast and stay on crutches for several weeks, but he healed in time to play for the season on his school's team.
Year 16:
Silas liked his job at the local hospital, but he had an opportunity to start his own practice with another doctor. He greatly enjoys his new workplace.
Year 17:
Silas found out that his estranged brother Sean, a widower, had just passed away suddenly. He was surprised to hear that Sean had named Silas and Jocelyn the guardians of his four-year-old son, Cormac Niall. Cormac was sad and confused that his dad was gone, but happy to meet and move in with his cousins. He has curly brown hair and blue eyes.
Year 18:
Jocelyn's family organized a huge family reunion that the Croftons attended. They got to see many relatives that they had lost touch with, and everyone had a great time.
Year 19:
Silas was shocked to discover that the doctor he had opened a practice with three years ago was embezzling money from their business! He left the practice and began to work with a doctor who was new to the area.
Year 20:
Silas and Jocelyn thought that, after giving birth to or adopting twelve children, that their family was large enough. They were surprised to hear that Jocelyn was pregnant again, but everyone was happy to have another child around. Honora Maureen has straight black hair and green eyes.
