I'm old. So the HP association came long after other ones (Shakespeare and 2 British actresses in old movies). I'm not the best person to ask. I certainly hope it wouldn't be people's only association. But even if it were, I still think it's worth using. HP isn't the worst association in the world.
That's the thing about a popular book / movie helping the general public to rediscover a name. It's good that it gets everyone's attention. But then it may be the only association they have. I worry that's the case with Juno. For me, I think of Greek mythology and "paycocks." But maybe the movie about a pregnant teen is what sticks in others' minds.
Bottom line: if you truly love Hermione then use it -- you'll regret it if you don't.
My stock combination: Hermione Imogen or Imogen Hermione
