Mine was passé. I think that describes my Swedish naming style pretty well. I love Swedish names, but most of the ones I like are dated. For the quiz, I picked:
Sven (one of my favorite names! ♥)
Natalia
Anders (another favorite)
Marianne
Leopold (although I didn't really like any of the choices; I have good associations with Leopold)
Agneta
Malte
Jasmine
Magne (but I thought all the choices for that question were pretty awful)
Sanna (I had never heard it before - it's pretty)
Theodor (my favorite author's name)
Astrid (but I love Embla and Freja just as much! Idun is really cool too.)
Silas
Rosa
Olof (but I like Gustav too)
Rosalind
Erik (but I like Svante too)
Saga
Kalle
Elin (but I like Ulrika and Ellinor too)
Vilde (never heard this one - it's interesting!)

Sanna - modern men normal

Astrid - klassisk och normal. Freja is modern och normal, Embla is modern och ovanlig, and Idun modernt excentrisk - not really, perhaps, but the theme of this question was Old Norse names, and it's hard to find something modern excentric then ;)

Vilde - modernt excentrisk. As a girls name it's Norwegian and a short form of Alvilde (see Alfhild), as a boys name it's a new Swedish invention and means "wild" or "savage".

Wow, I didn't know Vilde was a modern invention! It's nice sounding though, I think that's true of a lot of Swedish words (like the ones in IKEA catalogs). I think if I had known that, I would have picked something else, though - not that there's anything really wrong with Vilde, modern inventions sound kind of silly to me once I know the origins, iykwim. If I hadn't known Novalie was a modern invention and hated by the Swedes on this board, I might have picked that over Natalia.
