[Opinions] Re: Ainsley

Aynsley, this spelling, is a bone china manufacturer. My grandmother's china set was Aynsley.
And that's what I always think of whenever I see the name, any spelling. It's a wonderful association, it's just that I don't like seeing products used as names for people. Yes, yes, I know the name existed long before the company. It's just my personal quirk which prevents me from loving it.
If I didn't have that preconceived notion of Aynsley China I would like Ainsley on a boy. I still wouldn't like it on a girl, though. It has a very pretty sound to it and I can see why people are using it for girls. I just like keeping traditional boy names on boys.
