[Opinions] Blair
The first time i heard Blair for a girl was last november when i say the film, Christmas with the Kranks, and I started to really like the name. My friend's brother's name is Blair, so before that I always thought of it as a boy's name. Anyways, wdyt?

I grew up watching "Facts Of Life," so my image of Blair had always been of a pretty blonde girl who was snobby, rich and mean. :b I've since met both female and male Blairs so the name is pretty versatile to me. But I slightly prefer it on a boy. :)

Agreed, I hated it for the longest time because I went to school with a Blair (female), whose parents were well off and unless you had just as much money, you were on her death wish list or something...I dont know, but I couldnt stand her.
When I heard it on boy when I worked at a summer camp, I was a little turned off, but this 12 year old boy was polite, friends with everyone, and certainly a little cutie. I began to adore the name for a boy.~~Kris~~

It's an OK boys' name, even though it's not my style. I don't like it on a girl.

It is unisex. I used to rather like it for a girl, but now that it's our longstanding Prime Minister's name, the political hints are too much for me. _____________________________________________________________________Elinor

I agree, it reminds me to much of Tony Blair - kind of like naming a child Bush or Clinton. Apart from that, though, I don't mind it on either sex.

Boy only for meI'm not really crazy for the name though. Blaire looks better to me, but I still don't really like the sound.

I share the same opinion..At first, I thought it suited a girl better. But as time went on, I've grown to like it better for a boy.
