They are both nice names, not favorites, really, but I would consider using Daniella to honor Daniel, which I love and is a family name for me. I tend to think Danielle sounds better as a middle name than first, but Daniella works in either spot.

It's my name, and I've never particularly cared for it. I don't think it's feminine enough for me (the Dan part sounds really masculine to me.) It's also kind of heavy and I tend to prefer lighter names. Nowadays it's dated to the 80s anyway.

I really like it. All Danielles I've ever known gave me good impressions of it. It's very common but has an elegance and sophistication to it. It's also my cousin's name, who's been my best friend since we were babies, so I'm partial. :)

Danielle is a pretty name. It seems slightly dated, but if I encountered a little girl named Danielle these days, I would be pleased. It has a nice ring to it.

I don't care for the nickname Dani, but I've met people named Danielle who just went by their full name, so the nickname Dani isn't necessarily inevitable.

Fine as a mn, but I wouldn't use it anywhere myself. Daniela sounds better to me, but still not good enough. I don't really enjoy many fem versions of male names, but I am very fond of Daniel for a boy and would use that in a heartbeat.

I go back and forth on this one, it does have a slightly dated sound but I do like that it's actually of old-fashioned usage. I'm not sure I'd use it except if I wanted to honor someone named Daniel but it is a pretty name. I'm also quite fond of Daniela and Daniella.

It's nice enough. I wouldn't use it myself, probably, but it wouldn't bother me if it was one of my names.

Just seems a bit more unusual

When I was growing up, it was very popular. I didn't care for it back then, but I've warmed to it recently. It says "80's child!", but that's not necessarily a bad thing.
