Charlie is cute, I guess, but it's starting to bore me. Poppy is just dumb, if I'm being completely honest. I was going to say that it'd be okay as a nn, but even then I prefer Pippy. Billy is my least favourite nn for William and seeing it on its own makes it even worse. Lilac is quite pretty. I prefer Lotus though, which gives me a similar vibe.

I hate Poppy. It's so sugary and juvenile, I have trouble seeing it on an adult (and yes, I know about Poppy Montgomery).

Aw, I love them! A bit too cutesy, maybe Charles en Josephine would have been better as full names with these as nicknames.

Honestly, I don't think they're anything special. Charlie is an adorable nickname but it's pretty childish as a first name. Poppy is definitely childish along with Billy. Never liked Lilac as a name.

Very British-yuppie-style names. Charlie is okay but I wish you people would give Charles as the full name. Either that or quit sneering at us for having presidents who prefer to go by Jimmy or Bill on all occasions.

I like Charlie and Poppy, and I hope Charlie isn't short for anything. But Lilac, well, I find it quite trashy. I don't like Billy either, but I love William.

I love Charlie and Poppy, like Lilac and dislike Billy. I do like that even though they're half-siblings they still have a theme going – both girls have flower names and boys have diminutives of common classics.
