[Opinions] Do you like Drew as a Nickname?
Personally I LOVE it! I absolutely despise Andy and I like Andrew, but I won't use it without a nickname. I love Drew. WDYT?Remember CEDRIC DIGGORY: The REAL Hogwarts ChampionImage Hosted by ImageShack.us

My brother's formal name is Andrew, but everyone has always called him Drew, and he named his son Drew Jr, (not Andrew, just Drew). I really like the name, Drew fits a grown man much better than Andy, Andy's such a kids name, Drew you can see on an adult.

No. It's a redneck name to me. Many people seem to like it though.

Yes, I love it! My husband is Andrew-nn Drew. My brother is Andrew, nn-Andy. My son is Andrew, sometimes nn Andy. I don't want two Drews in the same house! I love the name Andrew in every form (obviously)! :)

I like Andy (if it's short for Andrew) for a boy and Drew (just as a name) for a girl. Though, I have a friend (god-cousin could she be called? If she's the daughter of my godfather?) who's name is Andrea and she went by Andy when she was little (but now goes by Drew or Andrea)... that wasn't too odd.Drew for a boy I can't stand personally, though I couldn't tell you why... it's just a feeling. PS: I love when you post or respond because then I get to see your signature and it makes me happy :) lol

I have bad associations will all forms of Andrew - so I hate it...
But Andrew is a nice name thinking objectively... but would still not like Andy or DrewDrew, used only as a nn, would work imoEdit: Drew as nn"We can even learn from our enemies." -OvidMitakuye Oyasin

Drew is a very nice nickname! I do prefer just Andrew, though. Andy is overdone. Andrew nn Drew is a lovely name.
