[Opinions] Re: Heather or Cecily??
in reply to a message by Bee
Please, please use Heather.Cecily has an unpleasant, hissy sound. No offense meant. Also, if you are in the U.S., I can guarantee she will be spelling her name for a large portion of the population, for all her life.

We're all entitled to our own opinions, but personally, I think Cecily is a stunningly beautiful name. Classic and elegant, but cute and youthful at the same time, as well as being easy to grow up with!
Also plenty of room for gorgeous nicknames! I live in the UK, and I don't really see a struggle with the spelling! Maybe she'll get Cecilie or Ceciley from time to time, but I don't see a huge issue.
Thanks for your comment! Xx

Yeah, I like all the "ss"s in that name. Also I know at least one in the US who doesn't seem to have spelling trouble.
