I chose it for my first daughter. I'd had another name in mind, but somehow she just looked like a Caroline - a name I hadn't even shortlisted.

So, to my surprise, I used it and love it. It has a light, dancing rhythm, and manages to be both sophisticated and playful. I far prefer it to Carol!
