I think
Tamara is very pretty. I've known two. The first pronounced it tuh-MAHR-uh which is lovely, however, there were those who thought her mom was saying 'tomorrow.' The other
Tamara (dh's cousin) pronounces it tuh-MARE-uh which I don't care for at all. Anyway, she goes by
Tammy.
Tamara is a name I've contemplated using yet when it comes right down to it, I probably wouldn't because it feels somewhat dated, I'd be concerned about the pronunciation issue, and I really dislike the nn
Tammy. Still, I'd be pleased to meet a young
Tamara.
