[Opinions] Re: Susan
in reply to a message by Perrine
I really like Susan nn Susie.
Susan reminds me of the flowers of the same name. The name Susan is uncomplicated in appearance. Susan has a laid-back kindness and warmth to it, balanced out with cool-headed intelligence. It feels like the name your favorite teacher/ professor would have.
I know it's an odd association but Susie reminds me of the band Siouxsie and the Banshees which was a band I grew up listening to when I was little because of my parents. I have always enjoyed listening to the same music as my parents.
Susan doesn't feel dated to me but that is probably because I do not know any Susan's. I do know many older Suzanne's so that name does feel dated but not Susan.

Favorite Names:
Dorothea, Marguerite, Aurora, Fiona, Leona, Artemis, Vivian, Hazel, Clara, Luna, Serafina, Maeve, Iris, Frida, Callisto, Cascadia, Vanessa, Flora
Kieran, Rowan, Brendan, Tristan, Cedric, Cedar, Arthur, Magnus, Malcolm, Adrian, Julian, Teagan, Xavier, Connor, Gryphon, Gavin, Hadrian
