Pretentious. Queenie seems better, because it's a diminutive and therefore somewhat playful.
The only Regina I've ever known was a Dutch woman, so it was pronounced reCHina and she was always known as Gina, also pronounced with that 'Scottish loch' sound - CHIna, not CHIEna or CHEEna.
