[Opinions] Re: Melody
It's pretty, but I don't like it nearly as much as Melanie, which I tend to confuse it with when I hear it spoken.
When I was really little I had this doll that was called Melody (by the company) that when you squeezed her arms, legs, body and head, she made different honking or squeaking noises. It was in no way melodic. lolYou're entitled to your own opinions. You're not entitled to your own facts. -- Daniel Patrick Moynihan

I knew one Melody that I met when I was 7. I had never heard the name Melanie. My name is Melissa. I do prefer Elodie because it seems less precious and more refined. I like the sound of the name overall but it is not on my own list.

Elodie to me is extremely precious and posh, the opposite of Melody.
I love Melissa.
