While I love the similar Natalia, I just can't warm up to Melania. I much prefer Melanie. And, perhaps, the Trump association has something to do with it. I agree with you that Melania would seem a little odd on a child. Then again, I've never met anyone with the name so I have no positive association.Your words reveal who you think you are, but your actions prove who you really are.
