I've started liking Begonia a lot, because it's so eccentric and rotund. I also think of it as a sort of honouring name referencing my grandma because she loves her some begonias.
I've often thought that Thistle would be a pretty name! I'm happy to see it on your list :)
I also like Gladiola, after gladiolus.
Oh, also what about Fuchsia? And Jonquil!
