I like Thomas! I don’t find it boring at all. I’ve been binge watching this YouTuber lately who goes by Tom or Tommy. I don’t mind either but I always thought Tommy was a tad infantile. I think Thomas has a very nice and intriguing meaning with history as well. I think it’s a classic and aristocratic name.

It's nice enough. I don't really like it as a full name to call by every day, but Tom is a good nn, but seems a little funny on a little boy. Tommy is more usual on a little boy, but it is right up there with Timmy as the kind of name they might use as a placeholder name in a hypothetical example: "Tommy has two apples and Timmy has three ..." or in a commercial "Tommy never liked eating brekfast till I bought Super-Smackers Sugar Snaps Cereal."

I like Thomas very much: classic and timeless, plus both my grandfathers were Thomas, so I'd use it happily. Tom is a good nn; Tommy isn't.

A genuinely classic name. Not a huge fan of either Tom or Tommy as nicknames, though.

Timeless excellence. Tom is fine, but despise Tommy.
