[Opinions] Re: Gael

I love Gael, I think of warm sunny weather and sandy beaches for some reason.
I prefer Gaël, though. (I'm a huge fan of diacritics 😁, these quirky marks are quite useful, at least in French).
I also enjoy Gaëlle for a girl.
I guess, I prefer Maëlle to Gaëlle (girl names); but Gaël to Maël (boy names).
ga-EHL and no-EHL? Might be a bit confusing, especially when you call them both at once.
I love the fact that they used feminine version of the name on a girl: Noelle.

Funny how you picture sunny weather and sandy beaches. For me it sounds soooo Breton. So Gaelic. I picture rocky shores with a stormy and grey sea crashing in. Just like the beautiful Brittany.
I think my brain might associate Gael with gayety (merrymaking) and gold. Something like this: Gayety + gold = yellow colour = sandy beaches? 😉
Anyway I'm one of those who'd prefer «rocky shores with a stormy and grey sea...» vibe
