[Opinions] Carter
For a girl?
I was on the bus yesterday going to visit my mother in law two hours away and two women got on with a toddler aged girl and a pushchair (stroller). The toddler proceeded to run to the back of the bus and the woman pushing the pushchair called out to the toddler “Carter your a pain”.
What do you think of the name Carter?

Unattractive and unpleasant. Barely tolerable on a boy, downright repellent on a girl. It has no grace, no beauty, and no imagination, just seems like a fad-slave name; quick, find a random unappealing surname and saddle our daughter with it, everyone is doing it!
Could not have said it Bette myself.
It’s fine. Nothing special, just another surname as first name.
Don't like it for boy and hate it for a girl
I find this name boring on a boy and unappealing on a girl
I like it for a boy, but I’m not a fan of it on a girl.

Not my style, but I'm more bored than appalled. I do find it ugly as a gal's personal name, and would never want to be named Carter.
It's like Parker or Palmer. Styled like Harper. Yet seems less bratty than those.
It also reminds me of Taylor, Kennedy, Madison, Reagan, and Monroe (president surnames). It has a slightly more dorky edge to it than those.
