I wish Bertha and Hortense (English pronunciation) could be rescued from their perception as hopelessly ugly names. I love both!As for boys, I'd love to see a Kermit resurgence.

I'd love to see the names rendered obsolete because of cartoons or kids shows on real people again.Barney, Casper, Elmo, Kermit, Clifford, Homer, BartWilma, Velma, Marge.... I'm pulling a blank here. What other female names now seem silly on an actual person because of a cartoon or children's show?

Many people associate my beloved Prunella with a secondary character in Arthur, but I don't think that association is the main reason why people deem the name unusable...Would Waldo fit in this group, too? And maybe Helga from Hey Arnold!?
