[Opinions] How would you spell a name...
That's pronounced lay-AH-na?
Replies
Léanna maybe?
Laiana
Like others have already said, Leiana.
Leiana
Leiana as this makes the most sense to me.
Leiana. This spelling gives that exact pronunciation in Afrikaans, which would help where I live.
Leiana or maybe Leyana (I prefer Leiana).
maybe Leana but that one could be confused for lee-ann-a.
I wouldn't use any version that has an "a" in the first syllable (whether it's Lai or Lay) because I would read that as a 'lie/lye' sound. I would read Lae as 'lay', but Laeana looks awkward.

Strange. I read Leiana as "lie".
I think of it as an elaboration of Leia
Makes sense!
Laiana, but would prefer the spelling variant Leyana
Ooh, Leyana is a good one!

Layana
Leiana.
Leiana
Leiana looks better, but I wouldn't pronounce it the way the thread asks. I'd say lie-AH-nuh.
Lie ÀH nuh would be like Lyana, Lyanah or Lieana
Leiana.
