[Opinions] Clarisse
Clarisse used to be one of my favorite names; in the past month, Clarissa has been at the forefront of my thoughts, and Clarisse has joined it. Woah, kinda blown away here because it recently started popping in my mind as well. Maybe the universal subconscious is bumping it up in the ranks. Hey hey!! :D
Either that or we are all feeling the winds of a certain Christmas story dancing in our minds. :)Speaking of, I think it's high time for Clarice AND Rudolph/Rudolf to make a comeback!
Clarice and Clarisse are just pretty, silky, delicate but not fading.
Rudolph is distinguished and classic... and I imagine that they know how to style a winter coat really well. (but that's just my imagination there...)
I prefer Clarissa; for what it's worth, I've only ever heard Clarice pronounced to rhyme with Malice. And I prefer Clare to them all. Glad to see Imogen, Vivien (that spelling!), Agatha and especially Barbara among your mns: Barbara is a very rare sighting!
I love Clarissa and Clarisse is also very pretty.Clarisse Leonora/Leonore
Clarisse Diane/Diana
Clarisse Marguerite
Clarisse ConstanceThese are my preferred combinations.

I love Clarisse but tend to favor it in the middle. Clarissa is the one I would use as the FN, even if it is a but more pedestrian. But maybe you have a point? Perhaps I should be reconsidering Clarisse in the first spot. Ik people mention silence of the lambs but I always think Princess Diaries first because I'm a millennial/ Gen Z cusper and Princess Diaries was a staple of baby me's childhood 😆 Queen Clarisse!

I think it's absolutely stunning! I know of a girl around my age (21 years old) named Clarise, that was supposed to be Clarisse. I love how French and quaint it is, and I also love its sister, Clarissa (which I do have a preference for). Personally, the name reminds me of Clarice, from Rudolph The Rednosed Reindeer (love her).I think that you have some stunning combinations! My favorites have to be:
Clarisse Dorothy
Clarisse Amy (The repetitive "EE" ending-sounds in this combination [same with Dorothy, but it's one of my most favorite names] isn't my cup of tea...but the honoring aspect for your mother is so touching!!)
Clarisse Agatha
Clarisse Minerva
Clarisse Ingrid
Clarisse Fernanda
Clarisse Mildred
Clarisse Barbara
Clarisse Imogen
Clarisse Diana
Clarisse VelmaSome of my own combinations I'd recommend, using your wonderful PNL:
Clarisse Angelica
Clarisse Dorothea
Clarisse Judith
Clarisse Ethel
Clarisse Hilda
Clarisse Eudora
Clarisse Imelda
Clarisse Dagmar
Clarisse Violetta
Clarisse Bertha

Oh, it's a masterpiece! You should watch it.
Agreed. Classic. Jodie Foster is brilliant.
