[Test] Search For Names With Two Origins
Is there a way to search for names with dual origins? E.g. names that are both French and Italian?

There is a distinction on this site between USAGE and ORIGIN. Usages are the languages/cultures that use the name, while the origin is the language where it originated.I suspect you may be looking for names that have both French and Italian *usage*. This is the search that shows these results. Note, you must be in advanced searching mode to initiate this search, as it requires the "is all of" operator.https://www.behindthename.com/names/browse.php?operator_usage=isall&value_usage[]=french&value_usage[]=italian
If you did indeed want to find names that have both a French and Italian origin, then you can search for that too.https://www.behindthename.com/names/browse.php?operator_origin=isall&value_origin[]=french&value_origin[]=italianNames typically have multiple usages but only one origin, so you might not expect to find any results. There are however 2 names returned by the search (Violetta because it is analyzed as variant of French Violette in some cases, and Annabella because the English form is analyzed as coming, in part, from the French word belle).
Thank you Mike, I did confuse the usage with origin. Thank you for explaining everything!
