[Opinions] Re: Why Collins for a girl?

Ugh. I managed to not know this until now.
Honestly, I don't know why this is a thing? I find it genuinely ugly AA a first name for a girl. And the Suzanne Collins association strains credulity - the rise seems to have happened well after the pinnacle of Hunger Games fandom.
The durability of surnames as first names has lasted longer than I once expected, even if some of the surname-names of yesteryear now read as incredibly dated (Ashley, Madison, etc.) I hope this name's trendiness is short.
