Its Greek.Just because names are used in English speaking countries does not mean that they are then pro. in an English way. They are still prounuced the way they were orginally. Alicia is a latinate name, therefore pronuced that way. Daphne is Greek, that is why its pro. Daff-ne. Etc, etc.Siri
