I agree. From what I know like with other Roman cognomina, "caecus" here refers to a physical handicap (Balbina, Claudia …). The word itself though often means mentally blind or blinded by power or money or beauty or whatever. Other meanings are: dark, invisible, uncertain.Andy ;—)
