Re: Delaney Pronunciation
When I was a kid and just learning English I came across the name Delaney in a book and thought it was pronounced DELanay, :D and then later on for a long time I thought it must be DEL-uh-nee, like Melanie with a d. But the first time I actually heard it pronounced it was de-LAY-nee so now that's what is my default pronunciation.
Im not a huge fan of surname names but Delaney isn't too bad.
For the Del-in-ee pronunciation. Maybe Dellanee? I don't like how it looks at all but the pronunciation seems rather straightforward to me with this spelling. Or Delanie?Emilia Anna, proud and doting cat mummy to Russian blue Misha
