I guess I should be able to since I'm the one who wrote though I can't remember where. Basically, it says that there's every indication that Hopla is a variant of Hopley since you can find people named Hopla and Hopley that were baptized in the same church (see http://www.revjones.fsnet.co.uk/stackgrpreg/twbap.htm).
