Never heard of Ingraham. Perhaps it should be spelled Ingram.

In my family tree, I've got three generations of Ingrahams starting at approximately 1550. They appear to be nobility from Barrowby, England.
It changes from Ingraham to Ingrahm with Johanna Ingrahm, who came to Massachusetts from England and lived from 1632-1699.
So it's an English name, I suppose.
