So I'll give a few of them a try:Renz - this maybe German from a town on the island Rügen
Bernard - a (perhaps English) version of the German last name Bernhard (old German: pero = bear; hart = strong)
Lotharingia - medieval name of the french region Lorraine
Pfalzgrave - from the German word Pfalzgraf (= count palatine)
Welf - perhaps from the dynasty of the Welfs
