Scuyler--pronunciation
I know that its supposed to be pronounced "skyler", right? Is it ever pronounced like "Schuler"?

It is an anglizition, I think of a Dutch surname now extremely rare in Holland. It is very rare in USA too, only in California. The original dutch variant was Schuyler, common in USA too. Dutch pronounciatio should be more or less: Sh.awjla.
I think Skyler is the correct (or accepted) pronunciation. Though the name is Dutch in language it seems to me that it originated in the American colonies (like Roosevelt). I'm not sure that it exists at all in the Netherlands.
