Archivesorigin of the surname- Manou
I believe that it is of Greek origin, but it could also be Turkish. Does anybody know of this surname? I cannot find its origins anywhere.

This is Greek Μάνου but I don't know the origin.

I agree, Greek. It looks like it means (son) of Manos, a male forename whose meaning I don't know. The -ou ending is one favoured by Greek Cypriots, so the name may be from the Island of Cyprus.
