Zimmetbaum, Buxbaum

What do the names Zimmetbaum and Buxbaum (or Buchsbaum) mean? They are Ashkenazic, from Poland and Germany.Thank you!

Not sure this is still active. But we have cousins named Buxbaum. We lost track of them. Any info.

ZIMMETBAUM would be "Zimtbaum" in today's German meaning cinnamon tree (cannelier)
BUXBAUM (Buchsbaum, as you say) is box tree (buis)
