The use of "Junior" versus "II"
I just had a boy and we named him after me with "II" after his name instead of "Jr". My sister says proper etiquette is to name him "Jr." because the "II" should only be used if the child is named after the grandfather. If the child is named after his father, then the child's name should end with Jr. Is this true???

My brother is John Robert II but we call him JR. It's because my dad doesn't like junior.
