Both are also american surnames. Wycliffis rather rare and local in USA.
Could anyone esplain me these surnames?

I'm not even going to look these up ...they seem simple enough ...

Wycliff ...most likely a version of "white cliff"

Snowdon ...most likely a version of "snow town"

Both likely English ...
