Might astonish a passport checker
There are in Sweden three persons who have the lastname 'Stillborn'.
It of course doesn't mean what it means in English. (In fact, it doesn't mean anything at all in Swedish.)
The name was taken in the 1950:s, when there wasn't so much international communication as there is now.

Of course it has got a meaning!
"still" means "calm" and "born" means "small hills between water". So that surname originates from a place name.

Where does it say that born means 'small hills between water'?
At the end of surnames it is usually a variant of bourn, which means 'small stream'. (Oxf. Engl. Dict.)
