They are Greek.

Tsifutis (or Tsifoutis) = frugal. Maybe of Turkish origin.

Xanthopoulos (or Xanthopulos): The son of "Xanthos" (= person with blond hair or colour of skin)

Cifut is the Alabanian word for Jewish. The letter C is, like in Turkish, pronounced as TS. In Greek language the word tsAfoutis also has the meaning of Jewish, not in a friendly way. The word tsifoutis sounds like tsigkounis, meaning stingy.
