I'd like to know the origins & meanings of the surnames Nhotiphay & Yen Van Pham. I came across these names in the phone book one day, & was wondering about the origins & meanings of them. I seem to think they would be Vietnamese.

Nhotiphay is of Thai origin. I think Pham is of Vietnamese origin.

my last name is Nhotiphay and I don't know anyone but my family with that last name. We're Laotian, not Vietnamese. I couldn't help you with the meaning of it. I'd like to know also.
