Re: O'Regan? Fitzgerald?
in reply to a message by Clara
O'Regan: This is Irish and means ‘descendant of Riagán', a first name which possibly means 'impulsive'. Fitzgerald: This will have been brought to Ireland by the Normans. It is a patronymic meaning son of Gerald.

My surname is Regan and I've always been told that it meant "little king".
