Nibhanupudi is the name of a village in Andhra Pradesh, India. My last name is Nibhanupudi since my family had roots in this village. Pudi in my native language "Telugu" means village but I am not sure what exactly Nibhanupudi means.

Nibhanu is a corruption of Sanskrit NIRVAHANA, 'completion, accomplishment' (compare modern Hindi verb NIBHANAA, 'to be accomplished, completed, fulfilled').

Kaplan is a traditional Jewish name. It means Priest in Polish. People with this last name almost always fall into the category of the Kohanim, or priests of the Israelites. Kaplans are direct descendants of AAron, the brother of Moses.

Heidrich, Kaplan, Music, PlankHi Usha,

Heidrich is a form of the German first name Heidenreich (nowadays merely used as a surname as far as I know) which comes from Old High German "heidan" (heathen) and "rihhi" (rich, wealthy).

Kaplan is
1) a German surname which comes from Middle High German "kappellan" (chaplain)
2) a Turkish surname which means 'tiger'.

Music could be (just a wild guess!!!) related to the Polish word "musiec" (with a ´ on the c) which means 'to have, must'

Plank/Planck is a German surname which comes from either
1) Middle High German "planke" (plank fence)
or
2) Middle High German "blanc" (white, shining, beautiful)

Regards, Satu
