What kind of name is this? What does it mean?

I was wondering what kind of name Volger was. I know they came from Germany right on the border near Luxembourg. I know the name Vogler is German and the name Voelker is sometimes said to be German or Dutch.

Volger is a variant of German Volker, from Germanic Folchari (< folc 'people' and hari 'army').
