Could anyone tell me the origin and meaning of the following italian
surnames:

Asti
Milazzo
Riggi

Milazzo and Riggi are quite spread in USA.

Well, Righi is from names like Amerigo, Federigo and Oderigo.
Asti is from the placename Asti, which came from Ligurian ast meaning "hightened place".
Milazzo is also a placename.

It is not Righi but Riggi.
